POTTERY WORKSHOPS IN TORONTO

These two-hour workshops are perfect for beginner potters or those wanting to hone their skills. Small class sizes allow for plenty of one-on-one support from experienced pottery instructors. Students can throw up to 3 pots on the potter's wheel, which will be available for pickup 6-7 weeks following their session. The price of the workshop is $70 plus HST. Please note: Workshops are not offered on evenings and weekends.

Beginner workshops are two hours in length, which is enough time to make up to three pots on the potter's wheel

Each class is limited to four students to allow for plenty of one-on-one support

Finished pots will be ready for pickup 6-7 weeks after your workshop

Payment is due upon registration to hold your spot. Please etransfer 79.10 (the price of the workshop plus HST) to paul@thepottery.ca

FAQs
  • Class size: Four students maximum.

  • Cost: $70 (plus HST it is $79.10). This includes clay, glazes, and firing.

  • Scheduling: 2-hour workshops are held during the day from September to June. Workshops are not held evenings or weekends.

  • Signing up: Please visit the scheduling program below, sign up for a 2-hour workshop, then etransfer the $79.10 to paul@thepottery.ca.

  • In-class projects: Participants will produce up to three pieces on the potter’s wheel. They will be fired and glazed for you. They are dishwasher, microwave, and freezer safe. The finished pots will be ready for pick up within 6-7 weeks.

  • Refund/Rescheduling: There are no refunds, however you are allowed to reschedule a class up to one week before your scheduled time.

  • Gift certificates: To purchase a gift certificate, please etransfer $79.10 to paul@thepottery.ca. Then email us to receive the gift certificate as well as instructions for the recipient to register themselves.
