POTTERY SUMMER CAMP

Our experienced instructors will help your children explore and develop their creativity in our half-day pottery summer camps. Children will have the opportunity to experiment with hand building, throwing (spinning) on a pottery wheel and glazing (painting) their pottery while pursuing projects of their choice.

Camps run half-day Monday to Friday with both morning and afternoon spots available

Each camp is limited to 7 children to allow for plenty of one-on-one support

The price is $270, which includes all materials and firing

Payment is due upon registration. Please send your payment via etransfer to paul@thepottery.ca

FAQs

  • Class size: Seven campers maximum.

  • Cost: $270. This includes clay, glazes, firing, and taxes.

  • Scheduling: Camps run Monday to Friday in July and August. Morning camps are 9am-12pm and afternoon camps are 1pm-4pm.

  • Age Range: With the exception of siblings, camps are limited to a three year age range in any one camp.

  • Signing up: Email paul@thepottery.ca and ask to join the Summer Camp Mailing List. You will receive an email with scheduling information when the summer camp schedule is released. Please reply to the email with your child's availability.

  • Camp Activities: Campers have the opportunity to hand-build pieces and work on the pottery wheel. They will also glaze (paint) all pieces.

  • Picking up Work: Campers' work will be ready to pick up within 6 weeks.
